Happy New Year: What are Your Hopes for Mental Health Policy in 2016?

Happy New Year!
So the end of the year has me reflecting on the things that have..well...annoyed me a bit this past year, and about the things I'd hope could be different.  It gave me a chance to take stock and come up with my wish list, which is up on our Clinical Psychiatry News website Here.
Do surf over and let me know what you think.
What did I miss?  What would you like to see change?

That I stop drinking (so much), lose 35 pounds and finally find a therapist I can trust and let go of "Amazing Psychiatrist #1 and #2 Who actually did therapy and I can't seem to , as I said, "let go of", because they were so good........and I have searched and searched and cannot find anyone even close to them......I am in the Richmond area, if anyone has any help..............................I am desperate. Thanks

Tracy, Shrink Rap does not offer medical advice. The American Psychiatric Association has an on-line doc finder at http://finder.psychiatry.org/ where you can plug in a zip code and it may generate names. I've also heard good things about the Find a Therapist service on the Psychology Today website which includes psychiatrists, but has other mental health professionals as well.

And oh yes, there's my past post on How to Find a Therapist: http://psychiatrist-blog.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-to-find-psychiatrist.html

Best wishes for a happy 2016!
